Thor V: The Guerra de los Panteones (2025) pushes the Marvel cosmic storyline into its most mythological territory yet. Thor tries to keep them together, but as prophecies reveal that a “Godborn child” may determine the battle’s outcome, Love becomes the focus of both hope and fear.
Meanwhile, Xylathar sends his colossal avatars to attack Asgard and Olympus, reshaping reality with each strike. These battles force Thor to confront his own doubts about the value of gods in the universe. As the chaos intensifies, he realizes that defeating Xylathar requires more than strength—it demands the pantheons set aside their pride and fight as equals rather than rulers.
The climax unfolds in the Astral Nexus, where the essence of all divine power converges. Thor, Hercules, Valkyrie, and Love lead the final stand, facing Xylathar in a battle that constantly shifts between physical combat and spiritual warfare. In a pivotal moment, Thor channels his trust into Love, allowing her to unleash a new cosmic force that disrupts Xylathar’s primordial energy.
When the dust settles, Xylathar is defeated but at a great cost. Many pantheons are weakened, and the universe’s divine hierarchy is permanently altered. Thor chooses to step away from the throne of New Asgard, embracing a new role as guardian of balance rather than king. The film closes with Love training under multiple gods, hinting at a new generation of cosmic heroes and setting the stage for the future of the MCU.
