Little Man 2: Big Trouble, Bigger Diapers (2026) continues the outrageous, slapstick energy of the original film while giving its characters a new series of chaotic misadventures. The sequel picks up shortly after Calvin has settled—at least somewhat—into his unusual double life as both a reformed criminal and a pint-sized “baby” living undercover with the Edwards family. Despite his attempts to stay out of trouble, trouble, of course, finds him instantly. The film wastes no time throwing Calvin back into the world of danger, deception, and diapers, with each moment bigger and more ridiculous than the last.
The story begins when a mysterious package arrives at the Edwards household, addressed to Calvin under one of his old criminal aliases. Inside is a cryptic note and a strange key, suggesting that someone from Calvin’s past is trying to pull him back into the life he worked so hard to escape. His attempt to quietly get rid of the evidence becomes the catalyst for a spiraling series of accidents that alert both the Edwards family and a new group of criminals determined to track Calvin down. Once again, he must pretend to be an innocent toddler while planning a daring escape.
Vanessa and Darryl Edwards, believing Calvin is simply going through an “early childhood behavioral phase,” sign him up for a high-end daycare program to help him socialize. Unfortunately for Calvin, the daycare turns out to be a front for a black-market operation linked to the key he received. Forced to infiltrate the daycare while dressed in onesies and oversized diapers, he must navigate a maze of elaborate playrooms, suspicious caretakers, and hyperactive toddlers while collecting clues about who is targeting him.
Meanwhile, a ruthless new villain known only as “The Pacifier” emerges, determined to retrieve the key and expose Calvin’s true identity. The film escalates into a series of wild chase scenes involving baby strollers, toy cars, and even a diaper-powered escape contraption Calvin builds using items stolen from the daycare’s supply closet. His improvisational skills and unfiltered attitude lead to both clever tricks and humiliating setbacks, keeping the tone comedic and unpredictable.
As the story intensifies, Calvin finally confesses the truth to the Edwards family, fearing he’s put them in danger again. Instead of rejecting him, they decide to help, forming an unlikely team armed with baby gear, household gadgets, and an abundance of confidence. The final showdown unfolds in a toy megastore after hours, combining action, comedy, and heartfelt moments as Calvin confronts his past head-on.
In the end, Little Man 2 delivers a warm, chaotic, and surprisingly sweet message about second chances, family, and the absurd lengths people will go to protect the ones they love—even if it involves bigger trouble, bigger villains, and, undeniably, bigger diapers.
